Ren Rosa Centifolia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser 

Ren skincare has this cool, zen-like packaging that's very attractive. But what's inside the packaging is equally impressive. The company uses only plant and mineral-derived active ingredients and absolutely no synthetic ingredients. The Rosa Centifolia line is formulated with a unique, 100% natural rose extract whose polyphenols help to gently soothe, decongest the skin, and protect facial vessels.

This is the gentlest exfoliant I have ever used - perfect for sensitive skin. It's more of the traditional type in which little beads do the scrubbing. The beads are suspended in a creamy, non-foaming cleanser, and the scent is a mild and refreshing combination of rose and mint. It's a great time-saver if you're in a rush and can't scrub first and then cleanse after. 

Ren has created a sophisticated product that works in two phases. First, the jojoba wax beads exfoliate the skin and the cleansing agents lift away impurities. Second, the beads melt and work to hydrate and plump the skin with the help of triglycerides from the jojoba oil. Because the beads are meant to dissolve, they are gentle and not at all abrasive. Normal to dry, and very dry skin will soak up the hydrating properties of this creamy exfoliant-and-cleanser hybrid. As with all the cleansers I recommend, this one by Ren is formulated without any sulfates, parabens or phthalates.
